Is Homebuilding in Recovery? Bellamy Homes, one of North Carolina’s top builders hosted a Model Grand Opening at Verdict Ridge Golf Course and over 300 people came through.

April 7, 2009, Charlotte, NC- In a market where no one is able to decide what is going to happen next, one builder has defied the odds. Bellamy Homes seems to be having success no matter what they do! In March, the builder hosted a Grand Opening for their model home at Verdict Ridge in Denver NC. They had 300 people in attendance and sold a few homes on the spot. “We were so busy that we didn’t get a chance to sit down all weekend; we ran out of brochures and didn’t expect a turnout of that magnitude” says Wade Miller who is in charge of operations. Bellamy Homes has been selling steady since they entered this top North Carolina golf course community. “We owe all our success to hard work, which has paid off with one of the nicest show homes in Charlotte” says Matt Dausch who runs Production. Everyone that came out seemed to be surprised that for less than $300,000, you get a high quality home on a golf course with just under 4,000 square feet.

Bellamy Homes is building in the section of the community where the idea of living is making things easy on the residents. Having exterior maintenance included is one way of allowing residents to have more time for play, and less for work. The idea seems to be working. “We started selling when we got here, and luckily we haven’t stopped” says Matt Dausch. Verdict Ridge is about 20 minutes north of the city of Charlotte, and with the newly completed highway sixteen, it is a traffic free commute. “We are just happy to be doing what we love .” says Wade Miller. The community has been very busy despite the economy, and Bellamy Homes will continue to work hard, and build quality homes for their customers at a great price!
